Who says Hall Effect keyboards can't be quiet?

... has never tried a Gamakay TK75 HE keyboard with the Gamakay's magnetic Phoenix silent switches.  This keyboard is truly quiet.  The switches are just as quiet as the Haime Heartbeat mechanical switches, because there is an extra "groove" at the bottom of the stem that bends when it bottoms out (Skyloong's video of where the groove is and what happens when it bottoms out as well as when it is released at the top!).  You can actually feel and see the effect of the "groove" because when you press the switch you can feel when the stem first "bottoms out" and then you can still push it a little past that first stopping point when you are basically "squishing" the groove closed.  The Gamakay silent Phoenix switches somehow also sound better lubricated and less scratchy than the Haime switches, though that could be because there is no contact point in a magnetic switch.  So if anyone tells you *all* hall effect switches have "chatter" and are loud, most likely they've never tried these Gamakay magnetic Phoenix silent switches.   Have a listen for yourself!

Here is a picture of the Haime silent switch stem up close, you can see the groove for both the bottom out *and* the groove for the top release as well that look just like the Skyloong video!

The Gamakay switch doesn't show the same type of groove at the top of the switch though it is still very silent.  It looks like on the Gamakay there might be some silicone padding at the top.. I am hesitant to take apart one of the Gamakay switches because they don't sell the switches themselves, they only sell keyboards with the switch... But one day..
